Graphical User Interface

The main interaction between a user and the process is though a graphical user interface (GUI). The system provides tools for building numeric displays, bar graphics, and animated objects. Ease of navigation between various displays is made possible by menus, short-cuts and "hot-spots" on the GUI.

CSE can quickly build screens that take advantage of all the latest system features. To ease the migration from older systems, CSE can also provide screens that have the same look and feel as existing screens from an existing HMI.

Security

IBECS HMI provides a robust and flexible security system. Any number of users can be defined, each with their own password and privileges. A large number of different security levels are available, so that each user can only perform functions, or see data, that have been allowed for his account.

The system also keeps track of the activities of each user, maintaining a record of control actions taken and alarms acknowledged.
